the RPX.

Involvement Committee
If you like to get involved in event
planning, then this is just for you! We
plan dances, Open MIC
nights and of course our annual
Recovery Jam, besides tons of
other exciting things!
(Starting in June, SIC will be meeting
at 1:30 instead of 12pm)

Video Game
Day
If you’re a gamer, this is for you.
Join us as we play the video games you
want. We’ve got both a Playstation
and a Wii and we welcome suggestions and
all players! Our video game
equipment is always available to anyone,
but during our Video Game Day one of our
members sets up and facilitates play.

3pm RP Orientation
To become a full
fledged member of the RECOVER Project,
you need to attend this short session
that goes over our “code of ethics”, our
computer policy, shows a short film on
bicycle safety, and talks about the RP
in general.

Acupuncture
Drop-in to this free auricular (ear)
acupuncture clinic. Licensed
acupuncturist, Melany focuses on five
ear points to address a variety of
issues including cravings, addictions,
insomnia, stress, and anxiety. FREE! No
registration required.

Recovery Learning Community.)

Meditation
For Recovery
This is a basic group for anyone
interested in practicing mindfullness in
their daily life.
All levels of practice are
welcome:
we will meet people where they
are.

Yoga Warriors
Healing the
Wounds of War Breath by Breath.
No prior experience with yoga and
no particular level of fitness or
flexibility required.
These free classes are available
for all veterans.

Restorative Yoga For Women
Mats are provided for this yoga for
women of all ages, but you should feel
free to bring your own.

Thursday of each month, The RECOVER
Project holds a book study group to
discuss the book “In The Realm Of Hungry
Ghosts” (Close Encounters With
Addiction) by Gabor Mate.
This week we will be discussing chapters
25 & 26.

Lynn Norwood, a family support worker
from our sister program, The Salasin
Project, is available at the RP from

of issues including recovery support,
parenting, court advocacy, and the care
& protection process.
